12/30/11 - Meet pug # 134- Spanky - a VERY SPECIAL Missouri pug. We saved
him from a kill shelter as his time was running out. The vet in
MO says he is around 10, limited vision, possibly deaf and sweet
as pie! He is now living in NY with Tiffany Yuille and family.

11/22/11 - Meet Johnny a 1.5 yr old mix from a CT shelter. Johnny got parvo
and was very sick boy. He spent some time in ICU and while there
his foster family fell hard for him and his pug sister Annie
fell into a frump and was depressed. So they adopted him and
everyone is so happy. Here is their adoption pic Annie and
Johnny together forever- playing all day/night long:) Johnny's
mom and dad are Kim Hartson and Gilles Richard. Congrats on

10/31/11 - Pug #108 Frank was adopted today by Alex Wade of Mt Marion, NY.
Frank was a puppymill pug who was originally adopted from GMPR
on 3/14/10. Unfortunately his family fell on hard times and had
to return him. Frank is about 90% blind and a real sweetheart!
Alex had recently lost his black pug, Budha and was looking for
another pug for companionship. Frank and Alex are perfect for
each other!!

It was a very happy day for Kane #77 (who is now going to be called
Rumpus) He met his new family for the first time. Allison
Crocker, her Mom and black brother Rufus drove all the way from
Albany to pick him up. He is going to a wonderful home and kids
who can't wait to play with him . My thanks to Allison and her
family for adopting this tiny puppymill boy who will always hold

a very special girl to all of us at GMPR. She came in with
polpys in her ears so horribly bad she needed 2 surgeries to
remove them and clear them up. She is mostly deaf now due to
this but never slows her down at all. Quite the loving soul, she
is now living in NH with Kama English and family in Nottingham
