I am Jennifer Sugai, a stay at home mom to two young children and six fur children, including two pugs, a hound and three cats. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Norwich University in 2005 with a BA in English. I worked for a short while as the office coordinator for a scientific and medical journal publisher before proceeding into the arena of development in higher education. I met my husband at college and after a tour of active duty, we settled in my Grandmother's house in Northfield, VT. I left my job to spend my time raising the fourth generation, Scarlett and Sebastian, in the family home.
I grew up in a pug household so when we started our own family, I knew we would have pugs of our own. I began volunteering for Green Mountain Pug Rescue as a foster home and soon adopted Bentley and Bella. We have fostered several pugs in the short time since then. I was asked to join the Board in 2014.
