Meet
pug # 102- Ozzie-He is a hospice
pug, saved from a vets office in NY thats only a dog catcher for the
town and never vets them or treats their issues:( he has a raging
ear infection, severe head tilt- possibly some neurological damage
from the innear ear infection having it so long etc.. Broken bones
healed wrong in his front legs. Very senior pug- trying to give him
a chance at living- on meds- rushed to rutland vet ASAP and on meds.
Hoping he turns around fast. Judy found him on his side spinning in
circles. we are fighting for him- just hope he can make a comeback!
stay tuned..
 Meet
pug # 42 ALI- and Pug #43- Brutus they are 14 yr old senior pugs
from NJ. Owner surrender. Fostered in weybridge VT. He has a
ulcerated eye that will be looked at by a vet ASAP. Ali- is VERY
bonded to Brutus, they spent the last 9 yrs together and Brutus
takes care of Ali. We really want these two seniors to go to a
home together to love their new owner for the rest of their lives.
Due to being a bonded pair their adoption fee is $150.00 for the
pair. Please consider opening your heart to these lucky spry and
playful pugs!. They def don't act their age!
3/18/11
They have surgery on their teeth Tuesday ( 3/22) and they will
decide on whether to pull out Ali (Ollie, that's what I call him)
eye then also, bad ulcer in it almost all the way through. He has
had it for awhile. They have infected ears and Ollie has an
infected nose fold. Brutus has cataracts in both eyes, just like
any old pug. They love to walk and be around you. They do not like
to be left alone but are fine if someone is in the room. Get
nervous in car and whine and whine and cry in crate but will
settle down after a while. they are very much go getters, love to
walk and be out side. They would make great pets for someone older
at home or retired. 3/22 - vet appt- Ali has 4 teeth left and
brutus has none left- severe dental decay. Their blood work was
kind of bad, they are both going to be tested again in two weeks.
Brutus may have chushing and Ali might have the beginnings of
Liver failure. They are both resting well. Right now Ali's eye is
going to stay in, it has healed well, it could change and need to
come out but the vet said let it stay for now. So more news in a
couple of weeks to see about their bloodwork- hope its just from
infection in their teeth!
